Sales Spotlight: Angie Stroble

Angie Stroble

Angie is Ametros’ Regional Sales Manager of the Midwest and has been with us for just over 9 months. Between all the conferences she attends and meetings with injured parties, we were lucky enough to get a moment to chat and discover what makes her, Angie Stroble.

What are you doing for the 4th of July?

“Unlike the tourists flocking to coastal hotspots, I will be having a relatively low-key day working in my flower garden.” Thankfully the forecast is looking sunny and warm for her plans!

Where would you want to sit if you worked in our home office?

“Right in the middle of everything! Especially with our brand new office, I’d love to learn from everyone and meet the new members of our growing team jumping around to different departments!”

If you weren’t a salesperson what would you be?

“I volunteer on the weekends at The Faith Mission, a shelter in Ohio that helps the homeless get back on their feet and in the workforce. Oftentimes I bring my niece or son with me to help serve meals to the homeless and be a warm resource for them to utilize.”

Do you have a mentor that made an impact on developing your career? If so, who was it and how did they help you?

“A supervisor at a previous job had put me on the right path in my career. He was encouraging enough to give me the confidence I needed to succeed, but always challenging enough to make sure I had solutions to problems before asking him to help. Because of Barry, I have brought my skills here to Ametros.” Angie has since passed this wisdom on to Ametros’ Marketing Team. Thank you, Angie & Barry!

During any downtime she may have when she travels for conferences, Angie…

Listens to inspirational podcasts and reads books. In the workers’ comp industry, there’s really no time for play! Sometimes she’s out until 1-2am connecting with others in the industry and learning about how she can help with mutual success.

What sort of advice would you give colleagues in your industry?

“I learned from Marques [CEO at Ametros] that “it’s a marathon not a sprint.” Coming from a background that was always a sprint and very chaotic, this change of pace has helped me value my work. I’ve been able to slow down and really understand every aspect of those I work with and what I work for.

Do you donate to any charities? If yes, which one(s) and why?

“Yes! Saint Jude’s and the Humane Society (ASPCA). “

Fun Fact:

“I have a house full of misfit cats! I currently own a 3-legged cat, a one-eyed cat, and a cat with no tail!”

My motto is…

“Well, it’s kind of a jumble of important values to me…Treat others the way you want to be treated. Look for the good in every situation and every person. Always be kind and do the right thing.”
